How this directory is built
Registry-first data, strict matching, and no pay-to-play.
1. Licensing registries come first
The directory starts from official public registries: the CMRAO's list of Condominium Management Provider licensees (Ontario), the BCFSA's licensee search filtered to brokerages licensed for strata management (British Columbia), and RECA's ProCheck search filtered to brokerages authorized for condominium management (Alberta). A company that is not in one of these registries does not appear on this site.
2. Ratings are matched strictly
We match each licensed firm to Google Business Profile data by name, using conservative rules: exact matches, or near-identical names whose distinctive part agrees (so “Ace Condo Management” can never inherit the rating of an unrelated “Ace Property Management”). Ratings are only displayed when backed by at least five reviews. Firms we cannot confidently match show no rating at all.
3. Former licensees stay visible
Expired, cancelled, and revoked licences are listed and clearly flagged. Boards most need this information precisely when a firm is no longer in good standing.
4. Verify with the regulator
Our data is a snapshot, refreshed periodically. Every profile links to the official registry entry — always verify a licence with the regulator before signing a management agreement.
Corrections
If you spot an error — a wrong rating match, an out-of-date status — we want to fix it. Contact details are on the About page.
